Dr Pianka, Mike Gene and Dave Scot

I don't generally intend to post on personal issues but I was so impressed by the behaviour of Mike Gene on the ID blog Telic Thoughts that I had to include this.

I have never understood what the fuss was about over Dr. Pianka. Whatever he said, or didn't say, it seemed to have little to do with Intelligent Design. However, the ID community got after him in a big way on the basis of hearsay. Mike Gene, who appears to be part of that community, seemed never to be convinced and now an excerpt has been published has graciously recognised there is no evidence.

Compare that with the reaction of Dave Scott on Uncommon Descent I think no comment is required.

From now on I shall make a point of visiting Telic Thoughts regularly.
